how do i know what i really want?

have I been too easy-going with life?

sigh. i've been screwing up people's life yet again.

i thought i understand myself well. alright. back to the heart and mind game again.

teach me how to rationalize things with my heart and teach me how to feel happiness with my mind.

half a month passed since my last entry. officially a full-fledged teacher from next monday onwards. i'm half filled with anticipation, half filled with apprehensiveness about going to a new school (again). welcome to the real world gal.

anyway. let's talk about exciting things that has happened. hah. the highlight of the month is of course the Mayday concert 2007! as usual, me and jasmine, with shuhong joining us this year. think he totally didn't expect the concert to be that crazy. it was like non-stop singing at the top of our voice and jumping for 3 whole hours. high fan1 tian1!!! hah and the mayday aftermath persisted till now as i am still replaying the concert music in my head. we got ourselves a mayday t-shirt each too!

alright. enough of my mayday. hah. recently went for a newspaper collection with my youths. we did collect ALOT of stuffs (6tvs, 1 washing machine, printers, dvd players, irons, 2 truckloads of old clothes and newspaper) from all the friendly residents of yishun but that's hard work manz. but it was bad news that the newspaper rates dropped during the weekend and so we didn't get as much money as we thought it should be.

oh. i forgot abt the 2nd highlight of the month. hah. i finally attended my keyboard lesson. got a keyboard too. heh. playing keyboard is rather addictive. but limited knowledge now, so there's nothing much i could play for now. haha. i'm looking forward to the next lesson!

went escape theme park with my students today. hee though ETP isn't that fascinating, i enjoyed myself with my students' company. think i tried all the available rides once. haha, viking was the worst. think my students were rather entertained that i kept screaming and screaming. but my gawd! it's scary lah! haha i hate that heart in the mouth feeling.

there was a haunted house there. seriously. it was so dark inside, i couldnt see anything! haha that's why i was pretty amused rather than scared when i was in it. i see nothing, and my students were just grabbing my arms and running around the house. i was so amused by how they were running and screaming, when they didn't even open their eyes most of the time. haha. so i was laughing and laughing throughout.

but after lunch i didn't want to do anymore rides. think i might vomit out my burger. hah. so afterwhile, went to the arcades with the boys. oh my gawd, one of my students, he's damn good with DDR. im impressed. haha i saw him so serious while playing DDR and i was telling them, if only you guys were that serious for my lesson.

left at 3pm. heh headed down to yishun for carwash with the youths. hah im tired manz. but i really thank God for this opportunity to be in this project with all the youths and the rest of the volunteers. can't wait for december to come, haha though we haven't had enough money for the trip.

alright. i better get started with my fund raising proposal. oh. hahaa mayday concert is coming! heh. alright. back to work!!

heh. my baby will be back tmr!! yay! hah. i miss him so much.

good thing for enkai to be back at the start of GSS. It's time for my finance minister to step in and control my budget. think im seriously overspending this month. i can even spend like a freaking 150bucks in popular bookshop. wow.

got bitten by an unknown creature and i have lotsa mosquitoes' lookalike bites all over my legs. yeah, red polka dots legs now. but more importantly, it's BLOODY ITCHY!!!

shuhong had offered me a knife to chop off my legs - to stop the itch. thanx buddy.

had a gathering with my cn3 classmates in the afternoon. heh shisheng is getting married in june! so happy for him. it was great catching up with everybody. good that we still have lotsa to say and complain about together. well. i'll make it a point to make sure we meet up regularly!

oh my keyboard class is starting next week! hehe. so excited abt it. can't wait, can't wait!

ok. whatever. anyway just completed as NIE homework. yeah finally done. i have been reading ALOT these days. finished 2 harry potter book and digital fortress by dan brown in the last week. well well. that's a record for me. coz i still hate reading! haha.

had been doing some online research for keyboard courses. didn't know spore has so many music schools! well. im damn serious about learning keyboard, just not too sure which school to enrol in now. heh. so fun!

have been skating alot these days too. fun! improved quite abit, but not enough in my opinion. oh manz, when can i dance in my skates!?

went for a shopping spree last tuesday. well 80 macdonald's meals in one day. felt really guilty after that. but there are still so much things i wanna buy! my cupboard is exploding too.

heh went for a half day amazing race with my youths. it's bloody tiring, but fun! my group got third!!! out of 25 teams. and my group was the only mixed group in the top five. the rest were all boys team. they got a mp3 each, haha though i don't get one, im still very happy for them!

hopefully i get to sign up for a keyboard course soon! [=
